F’Aerial Arts Safety Guidelines
F’Aerial Arts Circus School offers training to children and adults of all ages and abilities in the practise and skills of Circus Arts.
Our promise to you...
* To provide a safe, professional and supportive environment to engage and learn circus activities.
* Encourage you to develop skills in circus disciplines and overcome personal fears.
* Ensure that all training curriculum are prepared in advance and designed for individuals or groups.
* Value participants equally regardless of age, gender, race or religion.
* Not tolerate any form of discrimination, bullying, or harassment.
* To challenge you and to encourage you to express yourself.
* To always be available for any questions or concerns from participants or parents.
Our expectations from you...
* Play an active part in supporting our safety practices.
* Behave in a controlled and respectful manner in classes or workshops.
* Support others in their learning and development.
* Respect your teacher and any advice given by senior staff.
* Circus is about teamwork. Be willing to work as part of a collective team.
* Arrive on time to all classes and rehearsals ready to start.
* Arrive with appropriate clothing and remove any obstructive jewellery.
* No phones in classes – unless given permission by your teacher.
Important considerations for circus training...
* Be hydrated and eat healthy.
* Personal cleanliness and hygiene - please wash hands before class and in respect to others, please wear deodorant.
* Foster a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Identify risks and care for each other during negative experiences.
* Communicate your feelings and ideas about your training.
Circus School Etiquette...
* Please store your bags and water bottles away from the main training space.
* No food or drink allowed in the main training space.
* The teacher manages the music during classes.
* Avoid harsh language and swearing, absolutely no bullying or body-shaming.
* Avoid interrupting classes. If you are late please be acknowledged by your teacher before joining the class.
* Any serious incidents or accidents are to be reported to management immediately.
